Important Bronze Dagger


Description: An extremely fine bronze short dagger/sword, the blade with a double sided medial spine and Tao-tie mask forms at the pommel and guard.  Both sides pierced thru and cast to accept inlays.  Eastern Zhou Dynasty China, 770 - 256 B.C.


Dimensions: L: 11 3/8”  (17.6 cm)


Condition: Excellent beautiful Verdi-gris, burial patination with

remains of burial fabric on the blade.
